This week is our final one for the year in New Zealand high schools and I’ve been doing some reflection tasks. In a discussion about this, a colleague of mine, Matt said he was using the “Salad Bowl Game“, which I had played at family parties with the names of celebrities but quickly realized what a great idea it was for subject-specific revision or vocabulary boost.

There are many slight variations in regards to time limits and order of turns. I give each team 3 minutes while the other team watches. Matt plays one minute each team until the bowl is empty. You can decide times and turns what work best.
